I have a gallon container that is labeled "Kenite Micro Fines for tumbling only".

Is it polish or pre-polish?  It feels like talc it is so fine.

I put about a cup in my 15 lb tumbler which was about 2/3 full of rocks, water, and plastic pellets.  I ran it for 5 days.  It is fairly shiny but does not knock your socks off.  Should I let it go longer or what?

HELP

not sure about 'Kenite' but the final polishing stages I usually go 7 to 10 day range. depending on what most of the hard stones were.

Although I've been rock tumbling since 2004, I've never heard of Kenite used as a grit or polish. Perhaps to seller would know best what and how this is used. No directions came with the container?..
No, it is in a plastic gallon container and written on the outside is 'Kenite    For tumbling' ????

I have bee using it as a final polish and it works fair to good.
