Looks good. I would be very interested in knowing how you like the Cab King after using it for a while.

It looks like your new machine is doing a really nice job. The first three cabs turned out sweet!

Johnjsgems , Roy,
I'll let you know after I let a few more hours on it, so far so good the main improvement over my pixie is the constant fresh water as you are grinding. It seem that you can advance to each polishing stage much faster, it seems like it any way. I don't like that the pump doesn't have a switch you have to plug or unplug with water dripping from my hands right over my 110 volt receptacle. I cured that yesterday with a remote switch. I don't know what grit the diamond flat lap is but it sure is aggressive but it gives a nice finish.

Sara, probably 30 to 45 minutes a lot longer with my pixie, I think the constant water makes the difference..

Thanks, the first two are Turquoise and the other came from a 20 pound hunk given to me, I've been cutting cabs from off and on for two years...

I wonder if this machine cuts faster because it has bigger wheels. I have a Pixie also and cut on it for about 3 years and then I acquired a Genie. The first thing I noticed is that the Genie cut faster and the next thing I noticed is that the Genie has less space between the wheels. I got to use a Titan last year and also noticed that it cut much faster than my Pixie or Genie. I suspect it is because the wheels are bigger.

You know you might be right, the 6" wheels may be the reason why it cuts faster. I still think the constant fresh uncontaminated water has something to do with it also. I know one thing the water sure keeps my hands clean and the larger wheels keeps my fingernails ground down...
