Joe intetested in what your material list is costing you. Thought about going this direction then found a smoking deal on a Frantom. I have some friends that might be interested in the project. Think I have the same plans as you. So far you are doing great. Very impressed.   |

My cost so far is:
All steel material $332
Misc nuts and bolts and stuff some primer $85
Feed Motor $80
LS18 arbor with pillow blocks complete from Lortone $130
Still need to research pullys and belts but don't think that will be much.
I have located a 1/2 HP motor for $104 shipped new on ebay and I figure a blade off Ebay for a couple hundred. Should be complete for about $1000 (hopefully if no errors made)

Joe, I don't remember seeing this but maybe I just missed it; what plans are you using or did you just study a built saw and make your own? That thing is killer so far - you might have found a way to make some good money on the side lest ye just wants to have'n some fun  |

Not sure where he got them but it is real close to the Lortone LS18. No this is just for me. I would help someone make it tho.

The vise is completely different that a Lortone but the sled is very similar. Would you consider selling your plans when you are done? TOG |
