 on the 6th I will be boored for 3 days lying in a hospital bed after a total kee replace and figgured if I took the dremel in I could do something but figgure the poloce ( nurses ) would object. Any suggestions how I could perform the diryt deed.  Dicky

 Pre-form a few pieces at home and use sanding-paper to finish.

You need to write a story about your rock hounding adventures of top of the Rockies:)
I know you got some good ones.
Dicky finds those beautiful aquamarines but only a short period of each year can that area be accessed.

Hey Dick, good luck on the knee replacement. They will keep you busy! You won't be laying around much, up and walking the day after surgery.

I only had to spend two nights and of the parts I remember I seemed to be really busy. They had me up and walking and all the tubes and drains out by the day after surgery. The drugs keep you so fuzzy headed that if you blink you fall asleep. Many prayers headed your way for a quick and safe recovery.
