When I went out to AZ in November I showed my brother the knives I had been making.  He produced this 110 Buck that he has had since High School and asked me to put stone scales on it.  The material he chose was Canadian River Plume agate.  The bolsters were a little beat up so I didn't try to put a high shine on them, it would just accentuate the dings and scratches.  So here is the knife, the rock, the slabs and the finished knife.

Thanks everyone....  yes, why I desperatly needed a new blade and why I immediatly slabbed the CRP.   My bro hasn't seen the finished knife yet.  He did see the rock!  And loved the rough.  I am sure he will be impressed.  He and his wife are getting into leather work, holsters and such for the Cowboy shooting clubs,  I am hoping he can show this knife around and get me some orders!!

Hi Mia:

The 110 really came out nice and your choice of the scales really is great.  yes

Now you need to start making western belt buckles for the leather work that he turns out. I'm really surprised that I haven't seen anyone making them on the forum. Some of these larger cabs I see would really make nice silver show belt buckles.
