Could not get the right seize of wire for the strings, so I just put up copper-wires for the time being and to be replaced by gold-wire (by a professional).
Still need to find a bail too. something that will hold the chain (shoulderstrap)  in two places to avoid turning.

But overall, thats it.

Best regards, Kurt

Actually, I was born left-handed and forced in Primary school-system to switch to right.

Plus its easier to create something, when you see it right in front of you (I usually hold the dremel steady in the right and move the stone with the left.

Sara, I love watching "So you think you can Dance", yet would not do even simple steps myself. The same for "The Voice", yet if I would start to sing, the last rats would evacuate the village. LOL Having a preference for something does not exclude appreciation of efforts others make. To me Rocknroll somehow represents, rebellion against the establishment and whats more rebellious than an outright fight? Show clenched fists, show your disgust with your tongue and use images that people either fear or hate.

Daniel, isn't that the object of our efforts? If we want something regular, we can go and buy it in any Chinese department store. Your fantastic faces you showed a few days ago, are a perfect example of your individuality. Unfortunately, most artists can not make a living from that, so 99.99% get boxed in, and loose the factor of "labor of love".

Absolutely right Kurt, if we have love to our work with passion to do....I believe a good result will come out.

You got me there Frank. I  was thinking about the possible meaning of the choosen words but came up empty-handed. Just now I finally googled it and still; I'm no closer to understanding.

HELP please, I love word-plays but must concede defeat here. help

Took me awhile to figure out what it was I said that you were wondering about! I was referring to where the strings enter the hand. Of course it looks more like the fist is gripping them, and I'm guessing that was what you were after, but when I first saw it my brain saw strings going into holes in the hand for some reason and I thought of the symbolism behind "stigmata" (you'll definitely find that if you google it but it's when people spontaneously show the wounds of Christ, usually with hole in the hands from being nailed to a cross)

saved2 Ahh, Frank now I get it. I know about stigmata. As a Tourguide I had to speak quite often about it as it is seen as an omen in many cultures.

As  I worked the hand for quite some time, I know that there are no holes and hence the idea simply did not connect with me.  hide roar

But on the other hand;  left hand and stigma (ta) would just add another level of ideas applicable to the piece. So thanks for adding this idea. yes

I just watched the move 'Inception' last night. Stealing information (or planting ideas) in people by dreaming with them. I think they went three levels deep (dream within a dream within a dream) near the end. Pretty intense.

I mention that because you just took us two levels of philosophical artsy abstraction deep  yes

If you do it I recommend the single name "Gauche" (if I got my French correct  dunno )

Thanks Connie,

You can do all of that too.
Besides us here on the forum, you can tap into practical help at your factories.
That could help you to catch up and overtake us fairly quickly.
