Being the old cuss that I am it just so happens that Stairway To Heaven was the first song I learned on guitar back in the late 1970s, and yeppers, I can indeed sneeze and play it at the same time - I know because it's happened

Now then, lets give you a hand with a mate, Frank (better mark those words, if everything goes right LOL). 

Slowly " Heavy Metal " emerges. Did not like the original drwawing I copied onto the stone, so I'm going to do that one entirely freehand and lets see where it goes.

You've gone facey on us Kurtman - and you seem to like the hard rock / death metal look. Sweet!

I haven't had much free time lately so I'm missing making things. Just simple cabs would suffice for now - anything just to see some of my rock worked and polished.

Now that I've got it firmed in my brain what material that is I'm even more amazed Kurt - that's just stunning!

OK, so finally all the carving and polish is done. No more black hands. The only thing remaining is shoulder-strap and strings. Hopefully I will be done with that by 2morrow.

Boy ohhh boy that material works out fantastic. Its so dirty and bad for your lungs to work with, but once done, it seems to glow in the dark. Have been working this only outdoors and with face-mask permanently mounted, yet still a metallic taste in the mouth everyone of those days. So contradictory: its likely one of the worst materials to work with for your lungs, yet Lore says that wearing it should heal your lungs.

Wow Kurt - I like this best to date of all your carvings - that hand is killer perfect! 

This is another material I'd LOVE to get my hands on a few slabs of (bad grammer... sorry) but damn the nicer hunks are EXPENSIVE where I've been looking (eBay mostly)!

If anyone knows a source that's reasonable let me know!

It would be so cool if you could design one of these for a famous guitar player like............
Eddie Van Halen or Slash or even Jimmy Page

That materal is something else in not only does it get you dirty it will make you cry tooooooooooo.

Aowww, wrong guessed by me.......black malachite or phsilomelaine, I only know green malachite......never seen the black one until yours came out as a carved one, thanks Kurt.
