Hello to everyone on this board. I stumbled across this board by accident. Am very glad I found it. I have always believed in sharing knowledge with others. My wife and I design and build all our own jewelry and cut all our own stones. I have been at it for 40 years and my wife for 23 years. Currently all our work is constructed, hopefully I will be getting a new vacuum caster soon. We live on the Central Oregon Coast, in a tiny town called Otis. Lots to see and do, and a ton of rain to keep us indoors at the bench. We are currently finishing up a flacon for perfume. The bottle is carved from Mahogany obsidian. Top was carved from the cut off of the main bottle. All fixtures are in Argentium Sterling Silver. I will post some pics soon. Because of some ongoing medical problems, I am not currently at the bench. It may well be spring time before we are back in the swing of things. For now we are going through our rough stone inventory, picking out rough and planning projects to do. Thanks so much for setting up this forum. Most websites like this seem geared for wire wrap only. We do no wire wrap, and no precious metal clay. I also make chain. I worked as a chain maker many years ago and got addicted to it. Currently I can do about 50 different chains. Time for another do. appointment. Thanks again for having me in this group. Deano

Welcome to our merry band of rockaholics. We love pix of what you're doing (or have done). It sounds like you may sure have knowledge to pass on to us. Don't be afraid to join in. That's the fun of belonging to a forum & you've found the best there is. Plenty of fun nice folks here with lots of knowledge but always ready to learn something new. Mike
