Hi!

I just finished my first intarsia cab, black marble frame  and rodochrosite inside.


I enjoy to make this kind of cabs too, so i have to buy some obsidian for frame :-) tomorrow have a small mineralshow here, i hope i'll find something.

Congratulations, Janos!  Nice job! I like the way you did this one with the 6-sided stone.  Finding frame material that is a good black is a chore for me.  Right now I'm using basanite, which sort of looks like basalt, except it is lower in silica and higher in alkalis.  Finding a good solid, pure white is a challenge too.
