Looks fantastic already, are you sure there isn't a competition going on somewhere to enter this piece once done?

I am overwhelmed by the design of this piece. I knew you would come up with something pretty but this is magnificent and powerful and looks like a museum piece to me:)

Kurt:  The only contest I have entered so far is the FMG contests, and this piece would so far NOT qualify for those contests only because at least half the materials need to be from FMG and I would say currently only 20% of what is here is from FMG.  Most of the Materials I have set aside for the rest of the piece are either things I bought at an estate sale locally, things given to me, or beads I rounded up at sales at Michaels.

Dad did some research though and found me a supplier of Dentalium shells, so if I get a carved bone face from FMG, I could feasibly do a different variation in bone colored beads, and other earth tones...

I did more work on it tonight Kurt!  I think though that this is going to be a multiple weekend project to finish and I still have to work on the sheath for the dagger that is for Christmas for my friend Taylor, and then also work on a piece he may want for his Mom for Christmas.  As if I didn't have enough to do getting ready for an upcoming show!

I however finished beading the main part of the pendant tonight and got it cut out and then glued to the backing.  I have the glue drying right now and then at some point I will edge the pendant and then go in and work on accents and a short ornate fringe - which I'm doing in Emerald chips, the bronze Czech glass, Adventurine and pearls.

Well I'm on day three of my typical six day work week, so there won't be any updates or pictures of finished product except on weekends.  I also have a show coming up in a week and a half and need to get things together for that.
