I liked this dino bone so much, for knife handles, that I had to use the piece left from the slab to do another pair of knife scales. I chose another Victorinox, but one of the 58 mm ones. One a lot of blades. :)
These small Vics are very nice knives to work with, and now my technique is improving (and I'm getting faster too). This one came out quite well!

I like this knife.  This is about the only way I like Dino bone.

Well Done.

I like this knife.  This is about the only way I like Dino bone.

I basically agree with you. Unless it's one of those superfancy and beautifully colored dino bones, cabs often are not very impressive, to my taste. For example I'd sure prefer to have a cab of a good jasper than one of the dino bone I used. But for handles it's just perfect: that color and texture is definitely asking to be worked as knife scales. :)
