Courtney made a run after work for one hour. She finaly got into some agate at dark, she said she picked this up in the dark. Brought home and cleaned it up and found this nice geode. She had no idea it was geode due to the fact it was filled up with dirt. Weird geometric crystals, plume/moss and bubbles. I can't wait to shave off the two ends. Enjoy

Thats pretty cool...yea I would like to see what it looked like also.

On a different note...would you be interested in some sort of trade......At one time we talked about some agate from around Picabo....I would like enough (I can slab) to make some scales for a buck 110 or similar.  If you could describe what you would like to trade for I will get pics.....even some odds and ends of equipment.

...........or not.

This is old timey clean up too but sometimes you can just soak your rocks in a little clorox and water and they will clean up pretty good too. Still may have to do some scrubbing or iron removal but
I have cleaned many crystals that way first:)
I like this rock and cant wait to see what it looks like all bright and shiny:)

I think Cortney should be voted "Rockhound of the Year".  Way to go.
