I went out for a scenic drive a few weeks ago through the back country behind Zion National park UT, up and over Kolob mountain and then down into Cedar City.  Summer was just getting underway up there on top of the mountain and the wild flowers were all out in bloom. 







































Hope you enjoyed the ride.

Beautiful country.  Thanks for sharing.  I thought of posting some scorched earth shots of our county.  West to east, we have beautiful beaches, and then some forest, and then Mars....

Love Utah.  You chose a great state, or it chose you....either way.

Kurt, they're perfectly suitable for rock climbing, Zion NP is a popular destination for climbers.

I'm glad everyone liked the photos. Every time I go out for a drive in Southern utah, I can't help but be reminded of this quote from the movie Mountain Man:
