Somehow I had missed the last few posts in this section, some amazing work. My efforts seem minimal in comparison, completed in a couple of days. I have used Agate and Chert from Agate Creek, I will not be using the dark chert on the top again. What is clear it is best to use strong contrasting colors to highlight the agate. Thanks for looking.

WOW, beautiful intarsias. And the groove wraps really allow them to take the stage.

Wow, those are all incredible. Great work!
I think you are right about using contrasting colors, too. The dark borders look great when it is a lighter piece of agate (as in the 3rd photo on the left hand side)

Thanks all for your positive comments. Ron and Adrian posts have been the main inspiration as well as trying to link with some silver work I saw about a year back. Adrian's last post with the double sided stone works well. On my stones I have used a banded chert for a flat backing. My TV weather lady recently wore a stone of mine using the reverse side as it matched the jacket she wore that night.

Jewelry designer for the stars Allen:) How cool is that? Maybe they will let you have your own tv spot where you can talk about your stones and where you collect and how you create your designs:) Perhaps we should go ahead and get your autography before you get so rich and famous you wont return any of our calls:P I am happy for you. We could see your talent a long time ago and glad the rest of the world finally sees it too:)
