Melisa, it could very well be a Boley. Definitely fits the bill, as a brecciated jasper/agate.
Looks like a cutter to me!

Yes, I did find it. In the Boley area, but at the time it was collected, I had never heard of a Boley agate. Found a lot of interesting rocks in that area. Lots of deep olive green agates like this one and a lot of cherts that were pink and purple. Didn't know Oklahoma had much for rocks, but apparently they do!

@ Nancie, that is awesome! Do you collect there often? I'm from Wisconsin and happened to be in OK for a few days. I'm sort of a 'glacier follower',  when it comes to finding rocks, so that is how I ended up near Boley, and I am sure glad I did. Neat stuff there!!

Melisa, our rock club goes to the Wewoka area, looking for Boley Agate. Actually Boley, OK is probably 80-100 miles north of Wewoka. Kind of sounds like you need to lead us on a field trip!  dancer5

Sounds like fun!! If you pay for the plane ticket, I can most certainly show you where I went.
Brought back about 10 baseball sized ones like this.

Dave filled you in our rockhounding adventure in OK.
Those cuts look great.  I need to cut some more of my OK finds.
