I've seen the CD's by Don Norris mentioned a few times here on the forum.  I had a couple questions about them.

First: For those who have bought the CD's, would you recommend them (specifically the beginners silversmithing one)?  And why, why not?

Second: I've seen a lot of info on the forum about tools that are needed for silver work, but am wondering what specifically Don calls for in the CD's.

Just curious.  the CD's aren't super expensive, but I don't just want to throw $ away either.

You might also want to look at the offerings at Smartflix.com. This is a place to rent how to videos and I have personally enjoyed many of their offerings.

That is a great site...... many of the instructors i the jewelry section are very well known. I have always wanted to watch a Blain Lewis session, but his CD are usually $150+!  This is a great resource! Thanks

I want to get on the Jewelry University program from smartflix.com  the arrangement isn't that bad for 23 bucks a month you get 3 dvds per month to have as long as you want to and send them in as you want to get up to 3 replacement dvds a month under the subscription.
