I cut the first cab out of material I mined out of the North Cady Mountains in California. It was named Top Notch Agate by the discoverer because the vein was found at the top notch of the mountain :)

Any magic to getting the polish on the Shattuckite?  That's always been a problem for me due to the different hardnesses.
