Can you make pendants from Bahia Agate Geode Chips?

I found that a lot of people tumble them but can I grind and sand them to make pendants?

Thanks,

James

I want to but the word Geode is putting me off.

I thought you cut geodes in half and sometimes get really neat patterns inside.

Didn't know if you can just shape them like other rocks.

I have cut several hundred pounds of Bahia agates but have not yet found a single geode.  What is currently called Bahia agates on the market are river tumbled agates up to about a pound in size but must much smaller.  The agates are noted for their water level banding in many of the agates.

Searching the web I found several sites with the Bahia agate geode chips.  These are simply the Bahia Agates.  One dealer on ebay has 5 lbs for 22.50.  I bought the last 40 kilos for $200.00 this fall.

Yes, these can be cut like any other agate.

Good luck
