hey folks,
does anyone know of a shipping service that can pick up & pack equipment purchased on Ebay, then ship it to me? I have found some pretty good deals on sla saws, but they're pickup only, they wont ship.
   Any assistance much appreciated,

There are small local companies that do that.  Yo will need to find one via internet search and then get a price.  Expect around 100-200 to pack and 200-400 for shipping.

Send a note to the local rock club and maybe someone there will do it for you in exchange for cutting some slabs for them.

On a big saw spending $300-600 for a shipping service wouldn't be bad - as a percentage of the saw price - if you got a good enough deal on the purchase price.

Unless it was a great purchase price, though, I might lean more toward paying a bit more to someone like a forum member. Getting a good refurb from someone like that who doesn't add crazy shipping fees is more in my comfort zone.

There are national companies who normally move household good who will come and put the saw on a pallet and shrink wrap it and then put it on with a load of furniture being moved across country.  I suggest calling several of these companies to see who does this type shipping.

Hope you like it. That's a good saw size for most of us. If you like it, let us know where you got it. Can never have to many links to proven good sellers.
