Rules for this contest will be similar to the Killer Cab Contest. One entry per person, and your entry must be made during the contest period. You can enter anything that has stones as a primary decorative element and is meant for being carried on your person. No tiffany-style lamp shades, polished display pieces, windchimes etc. Pretty much everything else is fair game. Metalwork, beading, wire wraps, earplugs, bolo ties, belt buckles, even knives.

You must show photos of your piece before and after assembly. You do NOT have to have made every element of your creation, but you should state which pieces, if any, you made and which pieces you bought. If you made everything from scratch I am sure everyone would want to know that when casting their vote!

You can detail as much of the creation process as you like. I would love for these contests to also serve as sort of mini-tutorials.    book11  But no pressure! Before and after pics are all that is required!

Lovely piece Don like always, and it is great to see the matching pair of earrings.

Read an article that Argentium is the way of the future in silver work.  Worked with it on two pieces and it was a struggle for me.  Soldering nightmare.  I'm sure there is a learning curve.

Thanks for the comments you guys.........

Helene, I like the Argentium so for but I have found the wire wrapping wire always has a surface line or lines apparently when they draw it. I have to buff most of all my finish items.

As far as the soldering I have been using the Argentium silver solder and have had no problems. Some say you can fuse instead of using solder but I'm not that experienced to do so.

Yet another very unusual design.
Love the balance and crisp execution.  yes yes
The last picture hit me over the head, as I finally realized as to how small this piece actually is.

Photobucket has its quirks; recently it uploaded pictures and changed the position automatically. Had to edit and save as new picture.

Another great piece.  I like the clean way you put a hidden bail on the back.
