Seeing all these Fire Agates lately gave me the Jones!! Reached down in the bucket and cut the first thing I touched. It turned out to be a small broken piece that didn't look like it had much fire. I was pleasantly surprised and pleased with the outcome. 12 x 13.75 x 7.75 Which background do think works the best?

Personally, I favor the beige background. But by the end of the day the green seems to pronounce the colors of the FA best.

I have been feeling the same way after looking at all the cool fire agate lately. I still have most of the pieces i got from you Christopher and really want to work on a couple of them. Now if i can just find the time. By the way, when Christopher has fire agate to sell, its really nice stuff and well worth the price.

Christopher:) I love it when you get into your fire agates. You are the King of fire agates:) I thought the black but then again I could see a different fire in the green and the beige:) I bet it is fantastic in person. Thank you for showing its beauty:)

Yes they can be cabbed also. It really depends on the rough, but I can cab most of them. Sometimes the dome will not be even like this one. I carve very few.

Very nice I have a few peices of fire agate in my shed. It is strange looking stuff I have been afraid to do any thing with it for fear of ruining it. I think it is time to pull it out and do something with it. Thanks for the inspiration.

I'm sorry but I will not believe that stuff is real, and not photshopped (or whatever it is you windows users utilize) until I see it first hand! Hurry up Postie! What's the secret to turning out stuff like this? Do you start by grinding off the non-fire agate? I think I may have caught something
