Nancie, Simply as super score all around. The saw looks almost new. If I was still using trans fluid I would have hung it long ago tooooooooooooooooo. Could be the reason it looks so new. Well worth the long trip....... Don

Awesome Nancie! You did good. Mena was generally thought of as the place, that the movie "The Legend of Boggy Creek" was about. But it was actually Fouck (sp) Arkansas that the legend came from. Kind of ignominious, I've always thought.

It's Fouke and I am embarrassed to admit, I saw that movie. I built a cart for the saw this weekend and thought orange would be fun (maybe not). It cuts great although the motor gets pretty hot after awhile.

The ORANGE is perfect.... opposites on the color wheel, which makes them complimentary. And of course Denver Bronco colors!

A score indeed. I've had a Panther for about 8 years now and I love it. And yes the motor does get hot at times and I even had the breaker trip once, but mostly it runs all day long with no issues. I use mineral oil as coolant and I think it helps preserve the saw. Cleaning is a pain at times, but once she's back up and running, it's all worth it. Nice rock as well.

Thats a 1/2 hp motor and is quite sufficient for the job. Mine gets very warm also. I am pushing a 14" blade (not a true panther though). I gotta say again......one nice score. I would use oil no matter what....can't remember if you were debating on going with water or not.

There used to be a panther that lived down in the swamps behind my Grandaddy's house. I never tried to touch it though
