Ive heard of Belvade but dont think i ever seen a piece done before. That is excellent looking stuff!  Too bad one cant go out and find more of it. Oregon is a great place for diversity in material. I believe my club is going to be doing a trip down there this summer as well as one to the Owhee region.....CANT WAIT! |

Wow Kurt! Have seen similar west Texas moss specimens. You should see some of the red plume in a clearish agate.

The cab shape was determined by the slab
This stuff polishes like glass.

Cal, a little jealous...... I once got a piece of highest grade amy sage that had sooooo much purple chalcedony in it that it glowed. I have forever been on the look out for more ever since! Incredible!!!!!

To answer your question Helene, Yes I have cut a few cabs with it.
It is very nice to work. Not too hard but hard enough.
