I picked up a few slabs an a nice piece of Moorsonite rough from Philips Rare Rocks and Gems site sale today.

I put in a request for more of the Willow Creek too. He did not have any showing in todays sale.

I am still slabbing what he sent me of that. Beautiful material.

Morrisonite with Very Rare Pyrite Hair Crystals #17

I must be really slow ! I was just getting ready to buy  #17  Shocked when the sold sign went up.  The others that I liked all sold before I could get to them also. I guess you have to be pretty quick to buy on that auction. Very nice selection George. He sold a lot of nice slabs in a very short while.. Next time I will try to be a little quicker..........Bob

Hey Bob.... I really don't mind sending it to you for the same price as I bought it for.

I ordered a bit, plus some that is not showing here.

Just say the word. Really is not a big deal at all..

Oh man are those nice! I'd signed up an hour before it started to get in on it too and then dumba-- here wandered away to go do something in the workshop...an hour after it was over, then I remembered to come back!

I believe that Philip has been selling Morrisonite for a long time and all is so incredible. I can't even fathom the massive amount of it he must have to be able to do that too. I'd have to fight not turning into the Gollum like in the Lord of the Rings over all of it, my Preeeeccciousss Morrrisssssoniiiiite...mine mine alllll miiiine...... LOL

Out of all the gorgeous pieces you selected, #18 is fabulous and gets my vote as favorite. Already looking forward to the cabs that you'll cut! You are gonna be one Happy rockhound when all of those gems arrive Tao  Smiley

Thanks George..................Thats OK  I'm not really whining. Just remarking on how fast it seemed to go. Don't really have time to preview anything in a 'no sniper' auction. I am saving up for some opal rough anyway. Want to get one of those bigger parcels to play with. You did get some great looking jasper there!!..... Grin   Bob

I second that! Number #18 is my favorite! Love that blue against the warm tones!
