I received a very generous package from Philip today!

I have mentioned before when receiving certain minerals how reluctant I was about cutting. Trying to make sure that I do not waste, or that it is cut correctly to get the best design offered in the material.

Well this Willow Creek Jasper is going to really put me to the test. I am very reluctant to start cutting it.

Honestly, this is not just the finest Jasper mineral I have had the opportunity to cab, but I want to say this Morrisonite and Willow Creek is among the very best of all minerals I have received to date. Very exciting for me.

Any hooo.... here are the beautiful pieces of rough that Philip sent me  ;D

These first are some awesome pieces of the stunning Willow Creek Jasper

Here is a nice piece of Owyhee Picture Jasper

Morrisonite

Then here was a nice little surprise too.. A rare piece of black Bruneu jasper

Thank you Philip !!

Those look like they'll give you some incredible slabs just about any way you cut them. Wow, such a great assortment.

You gotta LOVE that black Bruneau! I sure do!

Ya know what? I think your absolutely right about cutting most any direction. There are a couple of exceptions, but for the most part your right. Not as big a deal as I thought.

Yes, that black Bruneau is really something.

Those are all super nice. I went on his website and looked around, he sure does have some nice stuff. I really wanted to buy some but my "Rock Fund" is all but gone. I sure wish someone around here would build a house or anything "land clearing" related. I don't think I will be buying much until work picks up and the rest of my startup bills are paid but I will get some sooner or later from him for sure.

Besure to show us the cabs you get out of those.
