Hey Tao, here are a few pictures of a cab that I am cutting in what I call spare time . It is from the chatoyant malachite end piece you sent me to see what I could do with it. I think it cuts fine without it having to be stabilized. Careful planing and cutting are key with this material. The cab is not done yet and I left a pocket of cuprite in the upper right hand side to show the material one must cut around. It may be what you said was copper when you tried to cut some. The green areas are chatoyant. It already has a nice polish glow to it so far. There was  material that was waist. Common in a non quartz base. I used all diamond so far. I am sure at 50,000 diamond this stone will shine.

Nice going Seth..

Another fine example of why I really need to get a station set up with some "diamond" polishing things.

It is really quite pretty... Looks nothing like what I was ending up with.

Great job!

Ya know, I make a big stink about this some time ago...

Think will have to look the person up who refunded me, and send him his money back.

Been wrong before and will probably be wrong again down the road....  ::)

Really nice to see that it can be worked.

Sure is pretty. I think I am going to head back up to Bonners Ferry and pick up one of those wooden spool type diamond polishers.

Ya know the ones. You can charge each wheel with different grit. Need to figure out some type of set up so that I have the ability to use diamond pastes on things like this.

Hey by the way...., did you try Zam at any time on this?
