I was digging through my stuff today and came across this piece that is actually an end piece that I think was a Botswana nodule. I cut and polished all sides of it. I was real fascinated with its outer skin area. Looks like something from the surface of an extraterrestial object. Bob  |

Those look like vent channels where gasses or whatnot pushed through the layers of agate to escape. Ive never seen more than a couple on a single stone. This one looks like it has dozens! You can see there are a couple on the polished face that didnt make it to/through the outer layer.
Very cool!
