I was digging through my stuff today and came across this piece that is actually an end piece that I think was a Botswana nodule. I cut and polished all sides of it. I was real fascinated with its outer skin area. Looks like something from the surface of an extraterrestial object.

Those look like vent channels where gasses or whatnot pushed through the layers of agate to escape. Ive never seen more than a couple on a single stone. This one looks like it has dozens! You can see there are a couple on the polished face that didnt make it to/through the outer layer.
