Here is another. This is local. By the time I got a new camera I had already sold the good pieces and the area has been made roadless so there is a several mile hike in to collect. A very pleasing white on orange plume. So here is a piece with the barest of whisps..

Hey Bob.  Beautiful cabs.  I think that the first orange one looks more like Canadian River Agate from Texas.  The second one, I think that Connie has a bead on, its some kind of Moss and Tube Agate from a Thunder Egg.

Aaron,

Great looking piece.. I really like the shade of green in it !

Bob,

I bet your right about the one cab being Windgate.. I tried to reference something even similar to the one your asking if we know what it is, but can't find anything !

You guys are right about the second one. It is out of an old Priday Thunderegg. It had been sitting in a box for about 30 years 'till I hacked it up a while back. Definately plume with a little moss though........................

How about some more pictures of plumes? The first four are Graveyard Plumes that I got at shows last year.

The next two are unknowns (to me).

Front side.

Back side.

Bob,

I love the photos of the plumes with light on and light off, wow what a drastic view, I may try that with some of mine that I have.

Thanks for the visual tip.

Dan, great cabs.  I especially love the 3rd one where the plume is encircled by the rind.  Its a big and complete looking plume that was beautifully oriented.  Great job.

That Jumpin Jeep plume is really cool, reminds me of OR plume with all the different colors and types of plumes in the same slab.  Where does Jumpin Jeep come from and is it an old stock material or newer, and where can one get some if its still available?
