I missed the last contest period but not  this one. Here is my entry. This is a piece of Stefoinite Jasper. This material is found in Wyoming. It has been said no one knows where the location is at because old Rudy passed on without telling anyone. I like this stuff. This cab ended up measuring  right around 32mm x 21mm x 6mm. Please forgive the photos I am still learning.

Rough material

Couple pictures of the cab

Thanks everyone

Dang Christopher that is one fine looking cab and design and I love seeing the stone since I have never seen it before. Ron the Image sent me a Fantasy Jasper that kinda looked like that but I havent done anything with it except look at it and hold it in my hands for long periods of time.
Fantastic job, its a show stopper:)

Am very glad you jumped in Chris. The last time I led off, it was bang, bang, bang, post after post. Everybody is sort of slow this time.

Christopher, great choice.  That is the story i have heard from several people.  Another great stone lost due to someone taking its secret to the grave.  I have been lucky to get a few pieces of this too.  Great job.

WOW is all I can say on those 2.

IMITATION FLORIDA PLUME AGATE...just kidding. I`m still working some coral.I was trying to go for that  plume effect. This is a small druzy coral head from Honeymoon Island I picked up years ago.Had it out in one of the rock piles. I wanted to use this where the druzy would look like that plume stuff on the rock so I cut a the end off and then took the next little slab as seen in the 4th pic,  I wanted the window behind it without cutting into it.this is  free hand, I like that better. I couldnt use any tempaltes on this piece. WIthout a lightbox I will always have reflections in these cabs, sorry

Great cabs everyone, now I going to have to dig deep to find something
to cut.  It going to be close to the wire to get one done.
