Yes, I am new here - hello to everyone. (Although I've been using email etc for quite a while, I'm new to the forum thing.) To put it simply, I'm a miner, cutter and wholesaler of Koroit Boulder Opal. My website: www.koroit.com, Blog: koroit.blogspot.com I just got back from a 2 month mining trip to Koroit. I'm just getting over the jet lag and will soon be cutting lots of opals from the material I brought back. I shipped home about a ton and a half of rough which should be here around mid-December. If you have any questions etc, please feel free to contact me - however because I just got back and am a bit busy there may be a delay in my response. New photos from my last trip should be up on my blog soon. thanks, Gene

Welcome Gene, Like your website. Looking forward to pics, and advice on how to work the koroit. I have a couple pounds sitting, that I keep looking at and trying to decide how to cut, etc.

Thanks for your hellos & welcomes. I've added a few photos to my facebook page and to my blog (koroit.blogspot.com). I expect to be adding more photos and a few videos this week. As you can imagine there are many things to juggle when i first get home after being gone for almost two months. Please feel free to contact me either here or through email: koroit@gmail.comI have to go and sort some rough opal. thanks, Gene
