Nice work! I occasionally use the Hot Stuff, but I use the tickest and let them sit overnight.

Tracy, your doing great..

I don't care for using fillers, but have used the two part 330 epoxy. Usually a cracked cab will either be reshaped or tossed.

Tracy, George is right. I have too many cabs to want to count that started out in one shape and very carefully cracked themselves into the shape they originally wanted to be! Those rocks are just a lot smarter than me!!!!! Grin Grin

Thanks for all the compliments on my cab  Grin Grin Grin

Sorry I haven't replied sooner but I have had visitors and not been able to get any "computer time".... I've just got home from work and there's no-one here (the pub is my guess!) so I figured I'd catch up on my  posts.

Thanks for those pics, Seth. I see what you mean now. There are some of those spots, but luckily they are not actual holes. With regards to the filling, I'm on the fence.....it's probably not something I would do regularly.... I like the idea of the stone deciding the shape, and staying completely 'natural'. I will do this one though, just to see how it goes and what it looks like. It's one of those things that I think should be done so you know later why NOT to do it..... (or when there is an exception to the rule).  As a complete beginner, I think it's worth doing everything at least once....

I'll look out for the "hot stuff"....not sure if we have it here, but I'll do some research, surely there's something similar if not the same.

You know, you've all created a monster here...... I am loving this cabbing trip >Cheesy
