I forgot, some more pics.  There is a slab of clear agate with green globules of Chrys from the Good Day Mine of Quartzsite AZand then my gold included Chrys.  The pics aren't that great of the gold included Chrys.  I will have to look for the slabs and take some decent pics.  Mark

Seth, that Parrot Wing is a beaut.  I love the reds.  I have gotten some small and rather plain pieces.  I always get outbid on the good stuff.  One of these days I will get a nice one for the collection.  Mark

That Shattukite(Africa) is really nice.. I like the combo of minerals in that one..

The Sagenite is simply outstanding.. I have never seen or known of a Chrysocolla to offer that Sagenite appearance. Really exceptional !

This is a cab from Marks Gold bearing Chrysocolla that he was kind enough to send me a slice of.

The metalic area appears silver in the pic, but it is actually gold colored. Sure seems to appear to have a good deal of gold content in it.

As I finished it up, almost wished I had done the other side of the cab. It shows just a bit more gold.

George, glad it turned out so nice.  That stuff is not really contrasty and I was worried that it wouldn't pop for you.  Glad to see that it worked out.  I have seen a couple pieces where the matrix is lighter and the green gold really pops.  I have a couple of really flimsy iridescent slabs that look like the gold Chrys.  Every time i look at them, I put them down and think of what they would look like as they disintegrate.  Now you need to try some Silverado that I got from Canada.  Mark

Been slabing up some chrysocolla today for a few trades I am doing. The fist two are strange. The metalic area is very chatoyant any way I move it. I am not sure what the white in it is but the slab is very heavy for it's size. The last one looks like a Google earth picture. Well it does to me LOL.

Going to be exciting to see a couple of cabs from this.. I can see from the pics the chatoyant..

Wouldn't the white be Quartz/Silica ?
